Welcome to Wara

This educational project, WARA, started in March 1988 in Montevideo, Uruguay. The institution comprises Wara’s kindergarten and Wara’s primary school. Wara’s Primary School opened its doors in 1996 as a way of continuing with the educational approach of the Kindergarten. This is based on an active learning approach which allows the maximum development of the child’s capabilities as well as providing the child with the tools for understanding the world around them; therefore, children will be ready to take active part in their society while transforming it. The school’s staff is formed by different professionals. As for the curricular subjects, there are Spanish and English teachers as well as Physical Education (PH) teachers, Information technology (IT) teacher, Art and music teachers, psychologists and doctor who assume the task of educating our kids with love, knowledge and responsibility. The open work with families is one of the cornerstones of our daily tasks. |
